Chato Arenal Lodge was born from a simple dream: to share the magic of the Costa Rican rainforest with travelers from around the world. Located just 20 seconds from the iconic La Fortuna Waterfall, our family has called this piece of jungle home for over three decades.
What started as a small family farm has grown into a boutique eco-lodge that blends rustic charm with modern comfort. Every trail, every dish at Restaurante El Chato, and every interaction with our team reflects our deep love for this land.
